Privacy & data

Plain language, no legalese wall.

What stays on your device: Resume versions, job descriptions, and edits are stored in your browser (IndexedDB with localStorage cache). File uploads are parsed locally — nothing is uploaded to our servers.

What runs without AI: Match scoring, keyword gaps, ATS formatting checks, and plain-text preview all use rules in your browser. No API calls required.

When AI is used:Only if you click "Analyze job description" or "Rewrite" on a bullet. That text is sent to our serverless API (Google Gemini). We do not store your resume in a database.

AI limits: Roughly 20 AI calls per day per IP on the free tier.
